Applesauce Cake

My cousin Elizabeth from Ontario Canada made this for our family reunion last summer, and it was wonderful.

1 Golden cake mix
2 eggs
2 cups unsweetened applesauce
½ cup sugar
cinnamon (to taste)

Coat bundt pan with cooking spray/oil. Beat cake mix, eggs and applesauce until smooth. Combine sugar and cinnamon in separate bowl. Place 1/3 sugar mixture in bottom of bundt pan. Add 1/2 cake mix, then add 1/3 sugar mixture, rest of cake mix, followed by remaining sugar mixture.

Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes.

ALSO TRY: Use Lemon cake mix and add chopped nuts of sugar mixture.
Use Devils Food cake mix and substitute cocoa for cinnamon.

Serves 16.
